Really sketchy, I know. I liked it before I finish the dress....*_*;;; now I'm not so sure. But, this is my first attempt at non-line work, and even then I cheated because I worked off of the original doodle (which is in my scraps). I think I liked the doodle more. XDDD I also left the clouds sketchy because I just liked that look better, but it doesn't go too well with her smoothed skin and things. Aaaah well!
And yes, I abused the grass tool because I'm LAZY. D:
hey now! i like the way you did the grass, and i like how the dress is flowing with the wind and i really like the purplish shading and the clouds. the only thing that looks strange to me is the breast, to me it looks like its up high and to the left

i dont normally do constructive criticism cuz i dont wanna get people mad. if you find the dress annoying, you should take the eraser (or burn/dodge tool, depending on your program i guess) and put the opacity down wayyyy down, and make the size huge. makes changing lighting easy as pie.. mm.. pie. er.. yeah. i mean around her bum. so the dress has shadow and light, and it will look rounded, not flat.
or.. something.
i tried.
don't hate me, tera-dono, i love your work!

Why in the world would I be mad at you? XD I'm really grateful for the critisism, since I need it really. I wanted the dress to have a very deep flow, and not to show off the poor girl's bum, so I made it shadowed. But it does make her look very flat ass-wise. XDDD
Thankyou~!

Ooh, this looks like a painting. Those clouds are very beautiful in a rough paint-y sort of way. The flow of the dress is lovely as well, and the detail on her hair...I admire her left foot as well.
I agree with the above reviewer on part of the dress shading; it does look like she has no butt. XP Also, the curve of her left upper arm as attached to her shoulder looks slightly strange. But overall this is quite pretty. ^_^
i really loved how flowy it looks. -jealous- i have the toughest time with fabrics, because i can never make the folds look like folds. shading and lighting--great! but those damned folds.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
